Dual-Bearing Timing Belt Idler Pulley — 8mm Round Bore
Pair a molded polycarbonate pulley with two 8mm round bore bearings and you get an idler that mounts in seconds: just slide it over any 8mm round shaft or 8mm REX™ standoff to redirect a belt or dial in tension.
The polycarbonate running surface is smooth enough to handle either face of a timing belt — toothed or flat — without chewing it up. Flanges spaced 9.5mm apart keep the belt tracking where it should.
The two bearings sit at different depths: one rides flush with the pulley face, the other is recessed. Flip the idler around during installation and you get two different offsets from a single part. Because the bearings' inner races meet, clamping the assembly down with a screw won't preload the balls or bind the pulley — it spins just as freely under axial load as it does loose.
